1.用于配制补锌剂、收敛剂等。用作媒染剂、木材防腐剂、造纸工业中的漂白剂，还用于医药、人造纤维、电解、电镀、农药和锌盐的生产等。硫酸锌是饲料中锌的补充物。它是动物体内许多酶、蛋白质、核糖等的组成部分。参与碳水化合物和脂肪代谢，能催化丙酮酸和乳酸的相互转化，促进生长。缺锌容易引起不完全角化、生长发育不良和毛发退化，影响动物繁殖。4.硫酸锌是一种允许的食品锌强化剂。我国规定可用于食盐，用量为500mg/kg; in infant food, it is 113-318mg/kg; in dairy products, it is 130-250mg/kg; in cereals and its products, it is 80-160rag/kg; 22.5～44mg/kg in liquid and milk beverages. 5.
